The heart behind the flowers
Petals of Grace began with Zulamita’s love for the beauty of God’s creation, and the way flowers can carry what words sometimes cannot.

Our story
My love for flowers started long before I ever owned a business. Throughout my childhood in Maryland, I'd spend some Friday afternoons at church with my mom and aunt, arranging flowers for the altar. It was there, surrounded by the most beautiful scents and textures, that I fell in love with the art of floristry.
There's something truly miraculous about a single flower. The way God places so much detail into every stem, every petal, every bloom. I've never stopped admiring that.
I now call North Carolina home, where I moved to support my husband's ministry, and where Petals of Grace was born. I began making arrangements at my new church, and through every stem and bloom, I began feeling God's love and presence guiding my own hands.
My roots are deeply grounded in my evangelical faith, and it shows up in my work. Every arrangement I create is made with intention, love, and gratitude.
What guides us
Your people, place, and priorities lead the design—not a template.
We work with the character of each flower and offer thoughtful substitutions when nature changes the plan.
Clear communication and steady care matter just as much as the final arrangement.
